The F1 button is really helpful if you are having issues and need a helping hand. You can request help with almost any program on your computer using this tool.
You can use the F2 key to rename any file or folder that is currently selected instantly.
Use the F3 button to search within the application you are currently using. This function can help when looking through lots of data or information to find exactly what you need in just a few clicks.
Using the key F4 with the Alt key you will be able to close the active window you have open
Using the F5 key will refresh your active web page.
If you are doing a quick website search use the F6 key to select the address bar in the browser you are using.
One very handy key to know about is the F7 key. You can use this key to check spelling in all Microsoft programs you are using quickly.
If you use Microsoft Outlook, this key can be useful as it activates the send and receive function of your emails.
The F10 key gives you access to the menu bar in any active Microsoft program that you are curerntly using.
Use the F11 key when you want to make your browser full-screen, you press the same key to exit out of full-screen mode.
To save any important files simply press F12 on any Windows application to save the document. This is a really simple way to ensure all documents are saved quickly while you continue to work on them.
