As a care facility supporting children of various ages, their digital infrastructure had to balance speed, coverage, and safeguarding.

Project Overview

Our team was tasked with designing and implementing a secure, high-speed wireless network that could:

  • Provide full coverage across all key areas of the home

  • Support tailored access controls for different age groups

  • Ensure long-term reliability and ease of management for staff

Project Scope

The scope of the project involved a complete overhaul of the children’s home’s wireless infrastructure to ensure reliable, secure, and age-appropriate internet access.

Our team conducted a full-site cabling installation across key areas including the games room, kitchen, and sleeping quarters.

We deployed three wireless access points configured into a triangulated mesh network to deliver seamless coverage and improved speed throughout the building.

Beyond connectivity, we implemented device-level access controls that allowed staff to manage individual restrictions based on age such as content filtering and scheduled Wi-Fi availability.

Staff were also trained to administer these controls confidently, ensuring long-term sustainability and safeguarding.
